'Vinayakudu’ fame Krishnudu’s next film ‘Amayakudu’ was launched today at Annapurna Studios. M Balamurugan, Anil S Nayar and Sudharshan Sharma are together producing this film under Octagan Movies banner and Bharathi Ganesh is directing it. A new heroine Ananya is pairing with Krishnudu. For the muhurat shot Srihari tapped the clap board while Anil S Nayar switched on the camera.
One of the producers Balamurugan said, “Amayakudu is a love story which goes in a humourous manner. Regular shooting will begin from tomorrow.”
“After watching the film ‘Vinayakudu’ this storyline has struck my mind. I’m going to direct this film with a new point and it has both comedy and sentiment as well. I’m sure that this film would turn to be a complete entertainer with the dialogues with the dialogues written by Ghatikachalam,” informed director Bharathi Ganesh.
Ghatika Chalam said, “The hero of this film is very innocent who later turns into a brave man. How and when is the main storyline of the film”.
Heroine Ananya informed that this is her first film in Telugu and already doing a film in Tamil as well.
Geetha Singh who is also playing the female lead said in a humourous way that whoever paired with her so far were only thin personalities but for the first time she got the right pair in this film.
Raksha is playing Charan Raj’s wife and mother to Krishnudu. Other prominent cast includes Rao Ramesh, Melkoti, Alekhya Rao, Padma Jayanthi, Amit, Mekha Ramakrishna, Jasper etc.
Manikanth and Kadhri are composing the tunes while Uma Shankar is handling the camera.
