To be produced by Allu Aravind under Geeta Arts banner, the film was launched on Thursday morning at Hyderabad. The film launch event took place at a temple in Film Nagar in a simple manner. Chiranjeevi graced the function as special guest and tapped the clap board for the muhurat shot. SS Rajamouli switched on the camera and writer Chinni Krishna directed the first shot. Tamannah is the heroine.
