Ekta Kapoor, known for her soap operas produced under Balaji Tele Films is now making a Bollywood flick titled ‘Ragini MMS’ under her banner Balaji Motion Pictures. This is a bilingual film simultaneously being made in Hindi and Telugu languages. Featuring Raj Kumar Yadav and Kainaaz Mothiwala as lead pair, Pawan Kriplani is directing the flick. The film is a romantic thriller based on the real life incident.
Speaking to the media Ekta Kapoor said, “We initial titled our film as ‘Raginni MMS’. But during the shooting of the film various weird incidents took place like - the hero Raj Kumar Yadav met with a car accident, heroine Kainaaz Motiwala fainted during the shooting time only. Hence on the advice of the famous astrologer we performed pooja as well as changed the title as ‘Ragini MMS’. Of late the shooting is progressing smoothly without any hurdles. We are making the film simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. I hope this movie would attract the Telugu audience also as the storyline is universal. Co-producers of this film are Alt Entertainment and Iraak Films banners.
