Nara Rohit’s new film titled ‘Madrasi’ was launched this morning at 9.30 AM at Madhapur in Hyderabad. For the muhurat shot Bellamkonda Suresh tapped the clap board while Dr Madugula Nagaphani Sharma switched on the camera and president of directors association Sagar directed the first shot. Other prominent guests in this launching event were ‘Eega’ producer Sai Korrapati, C V Reddy, Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy and Producers Council Secretary T Prasanna Kumar.
‘Prasthanam’ producer Ravi Vallabhaneni is making ‘Madrasi’ featuring Nara Rohit as male lead and introducing a new director Vijay Lingamaneni, who worked with director Gunnam Gangaraju for ‘Amma Cheppindi’ and with director Chandrasekhar Yeleti for ‘Okkadunnadu’.
Later in the press meet Nara Rohit said, “The story of ‘Madrasi’ is on revenge format. The film will be shot with a different screenplay and good commercial touch. Director Vijay has been working on this script for the past two years. The script appeared interesting to me.”
Producer Ravi Vallabhaneni said, “We are going to make yet another good film after ‘Prasthanam’. This subject blend with emotions is very good. It’s going to be yet another good film in Nara Rohit’s career. We are going to make this film with action, drama and entertainment. Regular shooting will start from August and will be shot in places like Andaman, Gujarat, Delhi and Hyderabad.”
Director Vijay Lingamaneni said, “Nara Rohit got attracted to the novelty in the subject and agreed to do this film. Producer Ravi was also impressed with the subject. Hence he is planning to make the film with high technical values without compromising on anything.”
