VR Short Films Awards Function

VR Films has conducted a National Short Film Contest to encourage the young talents in short films. The event was a grand affair held at JRC. Star Maker Satyanand Master has started the contest on March 13 and it has got tremendous response. Almost 294 short films were registered and among them 193 short films were submitted. Judges have shortlisted 49 short films and presented 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes and for different categories. ‘O Nimusham’ team won first prize, ‘Mounam Gelupondindi’ won second prize and ‘Chaukyath’ won third prize. Not just this, VR Films unit has given opportunities to young artists who presented their talents in the talent hunt. The unit has decided to conduct one more contest in this year.
