In a recent interview, Vijay Deverakonda commented that, till recently, he didn't have the luxury to express his dissatisfaction over imperfect film scripts. On the other hand, a Nepo kid with a similar experience as him can bluntly refuse to participate in a shoot if the script is not to his liking. "I can't ask the director to rework the script and postpone the shoot by 2-3 months," the Arjun Reddy actor said.
"There is an actor who is in a similar stage as mine. Since he is from an established family, his father gets two or three screenwriters to rework the script if needed," Vijay said.
Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom will head to theatres on July 31. The Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. Anirudh Ravichander is its music director.
