Keerthy Suresh's next Malayalam movie is titled Thottam. The action-adventure thriller will be a multi-lingual release in 2026. Its shoot will begin soon.
Although the shoot announcement video seems to be a product of AI, the film is going to be ambitious to an extent. "Beyond orders. Beyond borders. Unveiling the Untamed Land," the caption goes.
Nowadays, many movies aspire to be multi-lingual releases but manage to secure a good release only in one language. One hopes Thottam is not that kind of a movie. After Mahanati, a series of underwhelming movies have prevented the rise of Keerthy Suresh to the stature of a Samantha or a Rashmika Mandanna. Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Bholaa Shankar didn't do well. Annaatthe, too, was a flop.
