Sai Dharam Tej (also known as Sai Durgha Tej) has opened up about his most recent breakup. The Republic actor shared that the split occurred in 2023 with his college girlfriend, describing it as his most painful experience yet. He attributed the breakup to intense media speculation and rumors (such as predictions of his wedding following movie successes or links to various women) which caused his partner significant anxiety and led her to end the relationship.
The Virupaksha actor humorously urged the media to "stay a bit silent" so he could announce his wedding news on his own terms. He added, "A couple of websites have been ceaselessly making speculations about my wedding."
As he narrated the breakup experience, the interviewer (senior journalist Prema Malini) quipped that he had breakups quite a few times in the past. "How many times are you breaking up with people?" she asked him. To this, Sai Tej answered, "This time, it was a really bad one".
Sambarala Yeti Gatti is Sai Dharam Tej's next theatrical release. He recently prescribed a solution to end toxic, abusive online trolling. "Just link Aadhar to social media accounts.This might instill a sense of responsibility and fear in trolls," he said.
