The Raja Saab made Rs 112 Cr (Gross) on Day 1. A Blockbuster Meet was held on Saturday in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, producer TG Vishwa Prasad said, "Our movie is a horror-fantasy and the family audience have started flowing in already. We are adding the scenes wherein Prabhas garu is seen as an old man. To accommodate those four minutes, we have made some adjustments by shortening credits, etc."

Director Maruthi suggested that a film like The Raja Saab, with its plot involving mind games, shouldn't have been watched by the media at odd timings after hours of delayed screening. "They waited in the cold for hours before getting to watch the movie at Vimal 70 MM in Hyderabad," Maruthi began saying. He added, "Usually, I complete a movie in just nine months. The Raja Saab, however, was made over three years. I took that long because I constantly took feedback from Prabhas' fans. The last forty minutes is receiving universal appreciation. I have succeeded in unleashing a new Prabhas. The mind games plot is a first in Indian cinema. The result of a movie can't be known in just a day. The stamina of The Raja Saab will be known only in the coming days. I am happy that some episodes are being discussed and debated. Don't decide the result prematurely. We have added the old man get-up from today and you are going to love it. The fight on the roof unveils Prabhas' swag. We have trimmed some lengthy episodes. I hope the new version will satisfy you all," Maruthi said.

Riddhi Kumar said that fans have been enjoying the movie like anything. She thanked the audience and the team behind the movie for the "wonderful project", adding that the results are "overwhelmingly supportive".

Nidhhi Agrewal said, "I am very happy with the movie taking blockbuster openings. There are so many things to love about The Raja Saab. The most important thing is for the audience to connect with content. The crocodile fight and other elements are being loved by everyone. The kids will love it."

Malavika Mohanan said, "It was amazing to see the movie take blockbuster openings. The numbers are huge. Our DMs are flooded with appreciation. A big thank you to Maruthi sir and for giving me a role like Bhairavi. My sequences are getting so much love. It's a very special character in my filmography."
