'Orange' disaster: Naga Babu gets teary while recounting bail-out

It is known that 'Orange', starring Ram Charan in the lead, was a disaster financially. Even producer Naga Babu couldn't recover his investment, let alone his distributors.

Addressing Jana Sena party workers on Sunday, Naga Babu recounted the experience. He said that his brothers bailed him out at that time.

"As a producer, I lost crores of rupees. I was mired in debts. That's when my younger brother, Pawan Kalyan, stood by me. He and my elder brother, Chiranjeevi garu, became my pillars of strength," he said, turning mildly emotional.

Naga Babu added that he doesn't desire for any position in politics/public life. "Either you have to aspire to achieve greatness or, if you can't achieve greatness, stand by a great individual. I can only do the latter. I am ready to do whatever it takes to support Pawan Kalyan," he added.

'Orange' was released in 2010. Naga Babu had to spend so much on production because it was the largest Indian film in terms of budget to have been shot mostly in Australia. "Over two hundred and fifty people from Australia were a part of the cast and crew," a Wiki post says.
