"Been counting down the days for this one. Happy Birthday to my Raja Saab Prabhas. Darling I might not say much now…..but April 10th will be the day we CROWN THIS MOMENT with the BIGGEST CELEBRATION (sic)," wrote director Maruthi, unveiling the Motion Poster of 'The Raja Saab'.
The motion poster is bereft of cliches. Prabhas seems to be playing the incarnation of a royal man who comes back to reclaim his throne. While this is not conveyed by the poster, the promotional text put out by the makers is a giveaway.
Prabhas will likely portray two distinct characters in the film: a charismatic and commanding individual seeking to reclaim his rightful place, and a flamboyant and carefree romantic. "Rebellion and royalty didn’t just come…..they’re in his blood (sic)," the makers said.
While the names of Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal have been outed in the past, the makers made the name of Riddhi Kumar public for the first time. Production Design is by Rajeevan. The fights are composed by Ram Laxman, King Solomon.
