Oh sure!.
Education: I finished my degree. I enjoy dancing ever since I was a child. I have never had a formal learning in acting in any of the film institutes. Acting has been a God's gift for me.
Family Support: I am the only girl child to my parents. They have never restricted me on anything. I couldn't have reached this stage in my life with out their encouragement.
Can you tell us something about Lagaan ?
Before acting in Lagaan, I worked for a serial called Amanath in Zee TV. It gave me a good recognition.
I was selected to play the role of the heroine in Lagaan. Amir Khan is my favorite actor. Acting with Amirkhan came to me as a surprise. Lagaan was completely shot in natural sunlight. Acting was tough on me. But the hard work payed off pretty well. I played the role of a village girl in Lagaan. Unlike all the actresses who try to portray the image of a heroine, my character was totally different. It gave me a satisfaction, which would last for another 50 years.
What do you think of exposing ?
If one is worth enough and if one is talented enough to be able to express oneself in movies, over exposing is absolutely unnecessary. I'd like to uphold traditional values.
What is your dream character ?
Among all actresses, I like Sridevi the best. I used to imitate Sridevi even as a child. I would like to play the role of Sridevi in the movie Vasantha Kokila.
Love ?
Oh! Love…. I am not thinking about it as yet. When that moment comes, I will definitely let you know. Ok.
What if you have a negative role to play ?
Oh, definitely! It has always been my wish. I must be able to play any role easily in field of acting. If that situation arises, I will accept it willingly.
