Rashmika Mandanna attended the pre-release event of 'Gam Gam Ganesha' on Monday as the chief guest. Clips from the event have since gone viral. On Tuesday, a fan page urged her to speak in English at such events so that her language is comprehensible to her non-Telugu fans.
Addressing the request, the 'Pushpa 2' actress wrote, "I try my best to talk in English so that every one of you understand me no matter where you are from... But I am just uncomfortable with the fact that many people who want me to speak in their language will think that I am disrespectful of the language or that I don’t know the language." The 'Sita Ramam' actress, thus justified speaking in the local language.
Rashmika is currently doing 'The Girlfriend', 'Rainbow' and a few other films. 'Pushpa 2' hits the cinemas on August 15 this year. She recently batted for the Narendra Modi government, saying that its infrastructure projects have transformed India.
