Actress Kubbra Sait, in her 2022 memoir, shared a deeply personal account of her journey with pregnancy and abortion. In her memoir, Open Book: Not Quite a Memoir, the Sacred Games (Amazon Prime fame) star recounted a 2013 incident during a trip to the Andaman Islands.
After a day of scuba diving and drinks with a friend, the Bollywood actress engaged in a consensual encounter that resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. At age 30, Sait realized she was not prepared for motherhood. She chose to undergo a medical abortion. She has had zero regrets about opting for abortion. "I wasn't ready for it. It just wasn't the way I had imagined my life," Sait noted in the memori.
