"Weapon and power in the wrong hands lead to destruction. But in the right hands, it is revolution," the makers of The 100 wrote, releasing their movie's pacy Trailer. The July 11th release was described as a "gripping, power-packed, and intense" movie.

The trailer was released digitally by actor-politician Pawan Kalyan. "This is a moment to treasure forever. Hon'ble Deputy CM of AP, our very own Power Star Pawan Kalyan garu has launched the intense trailer of our movie. With his powerful presence and kind words, he added unmatched value and energy to the journey of The 100," RK Sagar, who plays IPS officer Vikranth, said.

What is the trailer like?

The trailer begins on a poignant note, with a distraught Vikranth saying that the past may be immutable, but the future can be altered through action. When he was in service, he imposed an extraordinary limitation on himself: to never use his service revolver. His idealism is tested eventually by unforeseen circumstances. A weapon unto himself, Vikranth can beat anybody to a pulp. A highly tricky case challenges him. Political one-upmanship, mysterious forces, and pressure from higher-ups threaten his quest for justice.

The hero characterization is unique. While he doesn't see using his pistol as a crime, he waits for the right situation to wield it. Writer-director Raghav Omkar Sasidhar is dishing out a racy film.

Cast and crew deets:

The 100 co-stars Misha Narang, Dhanya Balakrishna, Anand, and Kalyani Natarajan. The cop thriller is produced by Ramesh Karutoori, Venki Pushadapu, and J Tharak Ram. Theatrical release coming up:

The 100 is touted to be an emotional action thriller and it is slated to hit the cinemas on July 11th.
