Manjula Ghattamaneni, the sister of actor Mahesh Babu and daughter of late Superstar Krishna, is elated that her daughter Jaanvi Swarup is all set to make a big-screen debut. More than two decades ago, Manjula wanted to become a mainstream actress in Telugu cinema. Apparently, her wish was crushed by "resistance" from some quarters.
"I hold no bitterness. The same people who once opposed me are my well-wishers now. Jaanvi's smile is proof that prayers are answered. She is my completion," Manjula has been quoted as saying.
As Jaanvi turned a year older today, Manjula announced her daughter's acting debut. "She carries a legacy of light — and now, it’s her time to shine. I believe in her magic, her talent, her heart. The world will soon see what I’ve always known…The screen is waiting for you, my darling — and so is the world," Manjula wrote on Instagram.
