Movie Moghal Dr D Ramanaidu’s Bhojpuri film ‘Siva’ bagged Bihar State awards. The film which was directed by Gosangi Subba Rao has turned out to be one of the prestigious films for Suresh Productions banner. ‘Siva’ won 3 awards in Best Cameraman, Best Singer and Best Lyricist categories.
Cinematographer S K Amar, who worked for several Telugu films like ‘Political Rowdy’, ‘Pellam Kosam’, ‘Salaam Hyderabad’, ‘Thriller’, ‘Athadevaru’, ‘Prema Sandhadi’, etc., won the best cameraman award for the Bhojpuri ‘Siva’. He also worked for two Hindi and two Bhojpuri films. He was the cameraman for the Thumsup ad film which was shot on Chiranjeevi under the direction of Krishnavamsi. This apart, he also worked for various other ad films directed by Mani Shankar. S K Amar worked as an assistant cameraman to cinematographer Jayaram for several films before he turned into a cinematographer.
Famous Bollywood singer Udit Narayan won the best singer award for ‘Siva’.
