Tupaki title in controversy ADVERTISEMENT Jinka Harish Babu is directing and producing the film ‘Tupaki’ under Jinka Arunodaya Cinema Entertainments banner. The film is supposed to be launched during 1st week of December. However, the title ‘Tupaki’ has now become a controversy. In this regard director cum producer Jinka Harish Babu said, “We have registered the title ‘Tupaki’ on 30-06-2011 at Film Chamber in Hyderabad. But the recent news in a few daily magazines and TV channels said that Murugadoss’s directorial Tamil film ‘Maalaiveerathu Maliyathulli’ starring Vijay and Kajal is titled as ‘Tupaki’ in Telugu which is being dubbed and to be released shortly. I was really shocked and miserable when I heard this news. I never offered this title to anyone nor was I approached for it. My film is on terrorism backdrop. I even prepared the subject and songs for it. A few artists were also selected for the film. But I really do not understand how the Film Chamber has given permission for this title.”
