It is but quite natural that actresses become popular in neighbourhood film industries rather than their own native land. In this line, pretty young lady Swathi, who tasted success in Tamil, has now decided to try her luck in Malayalam too, despite gaining popularity in Telugu. Titled ‘Amen’, the film will be directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, who tried his best to implement uniqueness in the art of film in his previous two films ‘Nayakan’ and ‘City of God’.
‘Amen’ is a romantic entertainer with a mix of music, dance and humor. Swathi will pair up with Fahad Fazil and she will be essaying the role of a singer. Although the actress failed to make an impact on Tollywood, she says she doesn’t have any regrets as she knows the door would be open in neighbouring states for talented actors like her.
