Chetan Maddineni and Hebah Patel's Dhoom Dhaam heads to theatres on November 8. Also starring Vennela Kishore and many others, the film's pre-release event was held on Monday. Shot in Poland and India, the family entertainer is directed by Sai Kishore Macha.
Speaking on the occasion, guest and director Sreenu Vaitla said, "A lot of talents associated with this film are close to me. Each song from 'Dhoom Dhaam' is so lovely. I appreciate lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry and music director Gopi Sundar. Producer MS Ram Kumar garu loves his son, Chetan, a lot. But just love is not enough. You have to efficiently organize things to make a film like 'Dhoom Dhaam'. He has achieved that successfully. Screen-write Gopi Mohan told me the second half has shaped up very well. I am reminded of our film, 'Ready', which too had a very good second half."
Actor Chetan Maddineni said, "I thank the busy artists who did our movie on priority. Such was their faith in 'Dhoom Dhaam'. I have been a part of Tollywood for the past eight years. This is the biggest film in my career. My father became a producer because our well-wishers wanted him to go all out in making a big film with me. That's what led to 'Dhoom Dhaam'. I want Telugu movies releasing on November 8th to be given the first preference in allotment of theatres, not a Telugu-dubbed Tamil movie that is being released a week after the original version. 'Dhoom Dhaam' needs support from genuine movie buffs. Our movie deserves a chance. Please spread positive word of mouth if you love our movie."
Dialogue King Sai Kumar said, "This is a pakka entertainer. While the script is inherently strong, the producer's passion ensured that everything fell into place. 'Dhoom Dhaam' is a musical blockbuster."
Hebah Patel said, "I had the best time working on this film. I thank the guests who have graced this occasion. Chetan must get the success he truly deserves."
With music by Gopi Sundar, 'Dhoom Dhaam' has a set of comedians in different roles.
