Ragalahari mentioned a couple of months ago that Nani is most likely to do the remake of Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma’s 2010 Bollywood blockbuster movie ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’. Now it has been confirmed by the actor himself that he signed the film on dotted line. Parineeti Chopra of ‘Ladies V/S Vicky Bahl’ fame, who won the Filmfare award for Best Female Debut for the film in 2011 might be the heroine of this film. Bollywood’s leading production house Yashraj Films is stepping into the south to remake this film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
Meanwhile, actor Nani awaits the release of his much anticipated romantic entertainer ‘Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu’, which is on December 14th. Apart from that, he is currently involved with Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Paisa’ and Samuthirakani’s ‘Janda Pai Kapiraju’ which are under production. He is currently shooting for the ‘Paisa’ in Dubai.
