iDream Media, Leading South Indian Digital content and Entertainment company, has acquired the Overseas rights of two of Hero Ram’s upcoming films - 'Shivam' and 'Hari Katha'. After delivering a big hit like Pandaga Chesko, Energetic Star Ram is raring to go and interestingly both his successive upcoming films are being produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies banner.
After a brief gap, Sravanthi movies, the banner with a long tradition of presenting heartwarming romances, and family entertainers like Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav, Nuvve Nuvve, Nuvve Kavali, is getting back with a bang and this time with a double bonanza.
A compelling musical, action entertainer, 'Shivam' has Raashi Khanna, playing Ram’s romantic interest for the first time. Raashi Khanna has set the young hearts aflutter right from her debut in Oohalu Gusa Gusa Laade and then with 'Jil', alongside Gopi Chand. She is also playing the lead in Ravi Teja's upcoming 'Bengal Tiger'.
Ram and Raashi Khanna's onscreen chemistry, along with Ram’s action, is sure to win over the audience. The film’s shooting is going to be completed in August and the film will be ready for release in the third week of September.
One of the major highlights of both the films is going to be the music and Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad has scored some memorable and electrifying music for both the films. Given DSP’s style of churning out racy beats, along with Ram’s amazing dance moves, the songs in both the films are going to be a visual treat for the audience. The last Sravanthi - Ram - DSP combo was the stupendous hit 'Ready' which later was remade in Hindi by 'Bhaijaan' Salman Khan with the same title.
Sravanthi movies is also introducing some exciting and promising new talent with these two films. It may be recalled that it was Sravanthi Movies that first introduced Trivikram Srinivas as a Director for his maiden directorial Nuvve Nuvve.
Shivam is being directed by Srinivas Reddy, while Hari Katha is being directed by Kishore Tirumala, who had previously written dialogues for Dhanush's Raghuvaran B.Tech. (Tamil blockbuster VIP). Ram and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore were quite impressed with Kishore’s talent and the film is expected to add another feather in Ram’s cap, where his versatility will be on full display.
Besides the gorgeous new find Keerthi Suresh is playing the female lead role opposite Ram in Hari Katha.
iDream Media had earlier last year distributed the Ramanaidu Studios Golden Jubilee production ‘Drishyam’ and Gopi Chand laugh riot 'Loukyam', both of which did extremely well at the box-office.
