Telangana state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao felicitated prominent small screen director and producer Dandanayakula Suresh Kumar, who hails from Adilabad district Asifabad, by presenting Ugadi Puraskaram on the occasion of Ugadi Celebrations held at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad. He was conferred with the Award in recognition for his contribution to the Television department since 2 decades. He has made over 21 serials like Aadiparasakthi, Nagabala, Aatmayatra, Aparadhi and Komaram Bheem along with 686 documentary films and also provided script for the film ‘Shirdi Sai’. He also introduced many artists and technicians to the small screen. He received 12 Nandi Awards along with Indira Priradarshini National Award, Wonder Book of World Record and Genius Book of International Record and many prominent companies Awards and rewards. He is providing his support to the Television department in many ways as a founder of Television Federation and as a Television Writers Association President. Telugu Writers Association also felicitated D Suresh Kumar.
