Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s birthday is on May 20th, 1983. He is the younger son of the senior actor, collection king and dialogue king Dr Mohan Babu. The actor has impressed Telugu audience as child artist with the films like ‘Major Chandrakanth’ and ‘Adavilo Anna’. He, who made his debut as hero through the film ‘Donga Dongadi’, has created a special image for himself as rocking star by playing versatile roles in each and every film. The actor is known for experimenting with different characters like his father and thus he got settled in Telugu film industry. He successfully reached the hearts of Telugu audience by playing variety roles in each and every film like ‘Political Rowdy’, ‘Sri’, ‘Raju Bhai’, ‘Prayanam’, ‘Bindaas’, ‘Vedam’, ‘Nenu Meeku Telusa’, ‘Jhummandi Naadam’, ‘Current Theega’, ‘Potugadu’, ‘Mr Nookaya’, ‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda’, ‘Shourya’ and ‘Attack’. SN Reddy and N Lakshmi Kanth will jointly produce a film with Manchu Manoj as hero under the banners SSR Films Pvt Ltd and New Empire Celluloids with M Acchibabu as presenter and Ajay Andrews Nutakki. VK Ramaraju is providing cinematography, while Karthika Srinivas and Gopi Mohan will work as editor and writer respectively.
