The Hyderabad State Film Chamber Of Commerce which was established on November 17, 1941, will complete 75 years by November 17, 2016. On this occasion, the committee members have arranged press meet. This is the first Film Chamber Of Commerce in South India which was recognised by the government. The Film Chamber was turned into Telangana State Film Chamber Of Commerce in the year 2014. It was officially recognised by Telangana state government and central government. The committee has 3382 members and out of them 2600 are producers, 203 are producers, 468 are theater owners and remaining 111 are from other departments. On the occasion of completing 75 years, all the unit members have congratulated each other.
Speaking on the occasion, President P Rammohan Rao and Secretary K Murali Mohan Rao said, “Telangana State Film Chamber Of Commerce is the only committee which was officially recognised by the state ad central governments. Producers can take banner registrations, title registration and publicity clearance forms and certificates related to censor from the committee. People who are the members of the government recognised committees can only get the benefits from the state or central government. Many fake companies, which are not recognised by state or central government, are being established with the name of Telangana. We request people not to waste the time and money for the membership or not to be cheated by unrecognised companies.”
The committee has decided to organise the diamond jubilee in a grand level. The committee requested the subcommittee and Advisor of Government of Telangana Sri KV Rama Chari garu and Naveen Mittal garu that:
1. Fifth show in every theater for small films.
2. Tickets should be issued through online in every theater and should follow ticket tax system all over the state.
3. Should increase theater maintenance charges.
4. Current tariff should be changed to industrial tariff.
5. Should introduce single window system for shooting permissions and for building new theaters.
The committee members are hoping that they will get positive response. They also praised Chief Minister Sri K Chandrasekhar Rao, Sri Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Government Subcommittee members for their contribution towards the development of film industry.
