It has been six months since the release of Chiranjeevi starrer Khaidi No 150, which was directed by V V Vinayak. The film went on to become and superhit, but Vinayak did not move to his next film. There was news that Vinayak would be directing Sai Dharam Tej. But the film was dropped due to budget issues. Sai Dharam's career was doing well. His last two films were duds and now he needs a good director who can revive his career.
The project which was called of is now taking shape. C Kalyan has revived this project and will be pumping in money to it. He will be paying Vinayak a huge remuneration for this and is ready to make big production investments. The film is likely to be launched next month. Akula Siva will write the script. Once Sai Dharam finishes his shooting for the film Jawaan, he will move on to this film. V V Vinayak has already finalized Durga as the title of this movie.
