The memories of Gautamiputra Satakarni still lingers on and Krish is getting ready to make another biopic. The director is making a film on the Queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmi Bai. For the titular role he has chosen Bollywood's best bet Kanagana Ranaut.
The film will be known as Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi. Krish has announced that the film will be launched this evening (May 4) at Kashi Ghat in Varanasi. The entire unit will witness the Ganga Aarthi.
Manikarnika will be made in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. Penned by Vijayendra Prasad and Prasoon Joshi, it will be produced by Kamal Jain. Music will be given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
