On Thursday i.e. on September 22, Tamil actor Jai was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The actor crashed down a divider on Adyar flyover. He was, however, later released on bail. Chennai police found that the actor had been drinking. He was arrested by the police and booked under sections 185 and 279 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
According to the reports, Jai was partying on Wednesday night at a star hotel in Chennai. Premgi Amaren, who is Jai’s co-star in the actor’s upcoming film ‘Party’, and some other were present at the party. After the party, the actor left for his house on his Audi car along with Premgi and was driving under the influence of alcohol and rammed the divider on the Adyar flyover. Earlier, Jai was booked in 2014 after his vehicle rammed a median near Kasi Theater. The police have recommended the cancellation of his licence.
On professional front, actor Jai Sampath, also known as Jai, is well actor known to Telugu audience with ‘Journey’ and ‘Raja Rani’. He is currently working on ‘Balloon’ set to be released by the end of this year.
