Kathi Mahesh the popular critic turned filmmaker has been banned from entering into the Hyderabad city. Police Commissioner has released a prohibitory order stating so. Currently he in house arrest in Hyderabad and very soon he will be handed over to Chittore police (his native in AP).
The critic made bad comments of Hindu deity Lord Rama and Goddess Sita in a live TV discussion. This has not gone well with many Hindu organisations. He went ahead and made many absurd comments against Ramayana and Mahabharata.
The police questioned him last week and now have decided that his hate speech is affecting religious harmony. This is why the critic has been prevented by entering Hyderabad city.
