The Me Too India movement is gathering steam. Inspired by the Hollywood Me Too movement there are many people voicing out what they went through.
Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta spoke up against Nana Patekar. This gave strength and courage to many to speak against the atrocities that they went through.
Actress Samantha too has given her support to this movement. She tweeted, “I am so happy that more and more women are finding the strength to say #MeToo. Your bravery is commendable. I am sorry though that some people, even other women themselves will shame and burden you with the question of proof and doubt,” she posted responding on the movement.
The actress further wrote that, "Just know that you are saving many little girls with your voice. Thank You. I support the #MeTooIndia movement."
