Smita, the singer and album-creator, has tested positive for Covid-19 along with her husband, Shashank. Both are clinically stable and will be isolating themselves at their house in Hyderabad.
It was after getting body aches that Smita got herself tested. She was least expecting that the result would come back positive. "Mad mad day yesterday. Had some body pains which I thought was due to heavy workout but got tested to be on safe side. Shashank & I tested covid positive. Mostly asymptomatic. Waiting to kick Covid out, donate plasma & chill. We Stayed Home Stayed Safe but Covid came home (sic)," the 'Malleswari' and 'Aata' actress wrote on Twitter.
The couple has a daughter, who was seen in Keerthy Suresh's 'Mahanati' in 2018 as a child artist.
We wish the 39-year-old pop singer and her husband a speedy recovery from the infection!
