In a confusing development on Tuesday, the lawyer of Ram Gopal Varma reportedly told a Nalgonda court that his client (that is, RGV) had tested positive for coronavirus and that's why he is unable to be present in the court. This was in connection with a petition against 'Murder', filed by Amrutha Varshini.
Soon after the news started spreading, RGV took to Twitter and categorically termed it as "fake news". "Don’t believe such fake news like me getting Corona," Varma tweeted.
Moments later, he appeared LIVE on Instagram and Facebook with actress Apsara Rani to promote 'Thriller', his upcoming web-film. RGV seemed quite normal and healthy in the live chit-chat with fans.
