Megastar Chiranjeevi has said that the current lockdown of the film industry has left thousands of cine workers jobless and penniless. The Corona Crisis Charity has now come forward to supply 10,000 workers with ration.
"This distress situation has necessitated this initiative, which has already begun. Film shootings have become uncertain because of the pandemic. Not only cine workers, but also distribution network's workers will receive help this time," the Megastar said.
This is the third tranche of supply of essentials to the workers.
"This Vinayaka Chavithi, I pray that this situation recedes fast. This is temporary for sure," he added. CCC has received crores of rupees in its corpus since March. Film producers and actors have donated large amounts.
On August 22 (at 4 PM), the first look of 'Acharya' will be out.
