Sivakarthikeyan, who featured in popular hits like 'Remo' and 'Seema Raju', is now gearing up for the release of the Telugu version of 'Hero'. Titled 'Shakti', the film is being presented to the Telugu audience by Kotapadi J Rajesh, KGR Studios and Ganga Entertainments. PS Mithran, who was the director of Vishal's 'Abhimanyudu, is its director. Action King Arjun, Bollywood actor Abhay Deol and others are part of the cast. Kalyani Priyadarshan of 'Akhil' and 'Ranarangam' fame is its heroine.
'Shakti' will release in Telugu on December 11. Its story revolves around issues facing the education system. A content-driven, mass film it can be said to be the 'Gentleman' of our times. The makers are confident that the performances by the lead man, Arjun and Abhay Deol will come in for much praise.
With the story by PS Mithran, Parthiban, Savari Mutthu and Antony Bhagyaraj, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematography is by George C Williams. Editing is by Ruben. Dialogues are by Rajesh A Murthy. Lyrics are by Rajasri Sudhakar.
