We have already reported that Ananya Pandey has been roped in to play the female lead in Puri Jagannadh - Vijay Deverakonda's film, which is tentatively titled 'Fighter'. The actress, who recently won filmfare award for the best female debut for her performance in 'Student Of The Year 2', has joined the film's shoot.
#VD10, Fighter, will be a Pan-Indian movie, which will be presented by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta in Hindi. Charmme Kaur and Puri Jagannadh are producing the film under PC Connects and Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies banners.
Vijay Devarakonda has been trained in mixed martial arts for this movie. Mani Sharma has been scoring music for this much anticipated film, which is expected to hit the screens in the second half of this year.
