Ram Pothineni on Thursday called on the Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao and handed over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh towards relief measures. The amount will be used by the government to carry out relief measures in the rain-ravaged Hyderabad.

Earlier in the week, making a donation announcement, the 'RED' actor wrote, "Extremely concerned about my people of Telangana..glad to see than man KTR himself on the ground right from day 1 of the floods..would like to appreciate & extend my support to our state government by donating ₹25 lacs to the CM relief Fund."
Meanwhile, the release date of 'RED', directed by Kishore Tirumala, is yet to be locked.
