Actor-producer Ashok Kumar has lost his mother, Vasundhara Devi. The sister of the late movie mogul D Ramanaidu has died at the age of 88.
"Devi died due to ill health, on Monday, in Hyderabad. Her son, Ashok Kumar, has produced movies such as 'Chevilo Puvvu', 'Raktha Thilakam', 'Dhruva Nakshatram', 'Premante Ideraa' and 'Eshwar'," a source said.
Devi is survived by daughter Saradha (who is the wife of D Rama Mohan Rao, brother of late Ramanaidu) and son Ashok.
Ragalahari condoles the demise of Devi. May her bereaved family have the strenth to overcome the grief.
