'Ramu', the first part of the three-part Ram Gopal Varma biopic, went on the floors on Wednesday. Producer Bommaku Murali has said that the film will be shot for two weeks at a college in Hyderabad. The first part shows RGV's life as a college-goer, his love affairs and what he made of the gang fights on the campus years before he became a filmmaker with Nagarjuna's 'Shiva'.
The film stars Dorasai Teja as RGV. He is also its director. RGV is proud of the fact that Teja is just a 20-year-old. RGV's mother Sathyavathi blessed Teja during the launch event of the movie on Wednesday.
"Ramu garu is a super-human. His journey in the film industry has been a miracle. It's amazing to observe his passion for cinema. I am glad that I have bagged the opportunity to produce his biopic. The current schedule will take place at a college in Hyderabad for the next 15 days. We will announce other details soon," the producer said.
The film is going to have two more parts. RGV will play himself in the third part.
