The demise of SP Balasubrahmanyam has saddened Chiranjeevi and Jr NTR. The two stars took to Twitter on Friday and poured their heart out.
Chiru described the day as the darkest day for the world of music. He called SPB an unparalleled musical genius. "Personally, I owe my success greatly to Balu garu's voice, thanks to the numerous memorable songs he sang for me," Chiru added, saying that Balu came as the answer after the end of the Ghantasala era.
"His melodious voice transcended linguistic and cultural boundaries. There can never be another SPB. Only he must be reborn and fill this vacuum!" Chiru added.
Jr NTR wrote an earnest tribute in Telugu and English. "Indian Music has lost its favourite son. Devastated! In a legendary career spanning over five decades, Padma Bhushan SP Balasubrahmanyam garu has breathed life into over 40,000 songs. As long as music exists in this universe, you will live on sir," Tarak added.
Condoles are pouring in from all across India.
