After 'Dorasani' and 'Middle Class Melodies', Anand Deverakonda is all set to be seen in 'Pushpaka Vimanam', which is touted to be a concept-based movie. Helmed by debutant Damodar, the film sees the coming together of Vijay Deverakonda's King of the Hill Productions and Tanga Productions.
"I got inspired by a news article and built the story with slice-of-life characters," the director today said. Govardhan Rao Deverakonda, Vijay's father, okayed the script first.
What is Anand's character in the movie? "He is playing the role of a government school teacher. The incidents that unfold in middle-class families is the crux," the director revealed.
Drama is built around the institution of marriage in this film. Sunil and Naresh, actors who are known for their comic timings, will be seen in pivotal roles. Sanvi Megha and Geeta Saayini are the heroines.
Done with the shoot, the film is in the post-production phase. Harsha Vardhan, Giridhar, Kireeti, Bhadram, Viva Harsha, Abhijeeth, Ajay, Sudarshan and others are part of the cast. Cinematography is by Hestin Jose Joseph, while music is by Ram Miriyala, Sidharth Sadasivuni, Amit Dasani. BGM is by RH Vikram.
