'Maara', starring R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath, is a Tamil-language romantic musical drama to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from January 8. Its trailer and dialogue promo were released recently. Since 'Maara' is an adaptation of Dulquer Salmaan's 'Charlie' (Malayalam), the 'OK Bangaram' actor has decided to lend his voice as a token of love and appreciation. The actor will be reciting a heart-warming poem in the movie.
In this regard, the 'Nishabdham' actor has thanked Dulquer for the gesture. The director of the film, too, is upbeat about Dulquer lending his voice. On his part, Dulquer said, “Thank you, dearest Maddy-na. You’ve been a huge inspiration! I was really touched when you & the team wanted to include me/Charlie in some way in #Maara! All of us from team #Charlie wish team #Maara only the best. We cannot wait to watch your version! love & prayers!”.
The film also features Alexander Babu, Sshivada Nair, Mouli, Padmavati Rao and Abhirami in prominent roles. 'Maara' has music by Ghibran.
