'Skylab', touted to be a period comedy with sci-fi elements, features Satyadev Kancharana, Nithya Menen and Rahul Ramakrishna as villagers. Helmed by Vishvak Khanderao, its story is set in 1979, when millions across the world were scared that the debris of the disintegrated Skylab (which was the first space station launched by NASA) would fall on them, leading to large-scale destruction all around.
The First Look of the movie was on Sunday unveiled by star actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who wished the team all the best.
The lead actors play Gowri, Anand, and Rama Rao, three fun-loving and humble people from the Banda Lingapally village. Also made as an entertainer, 'Skylab' is yet to lock its release date. Shivam Rao's production design is expected to be one of the major highlights.
With the music by Prashant R Vihari, its dialogues and screenplay are by the director himself. Co-produced by Nithya Menen and produced by Prudhvi Pinnamaraju, its cinematography is by Aditya Javvadi.
