Om Raut, director of Prabhas' upcoming film Adipurush, had already said that he will be presenting the Ramayana from a new perspective, which was never shown before.
Now, some inside reports revealed that the makers are showing Sita as a fearless and powerful woman, who gives a tough fight to Ravan. The films which were made on Ramayana presented Sita as helpless so far. But, the makers are said to be changing this scene to promote lady power. Still, it is not sure how the audience receives this change on the big screens.
Adipurush features the Baahubali hero as Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan essays the role of Ravan alias Lankesh.
The film is produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages, Adipurush will hit the screens on 11 August 2022.
