It's a special day in the career of Vamsi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju, as they received two National Film awards from the hands of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. As is known, 'Maharshi' won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment award as well as the Best Choreography (Raju Sundaram) for the message-driven movie in 2019.
Soon afterward, Sri Venkateswara Creations tweeted, "We are truly honored to receive #NationalAward for #Maharshi as The Best Popular Film providing wholesome entertainment. We would like to thank Mahesh Babu and Paidipally. This wouldn’t have been possible without you."
'Maharshi', starring Mahesh Babu in the lead, had Pooja Hegde as the heroine. Also featuring Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Jaya Sudha, it was a box office hit in May 2019.
