Naga Babu has issued a video statement hours after his daughter Niharika Konidela was detained by the police task force after a raid on a famous pub in Hyderabad. The raid happened on the suspicion that a rave party was on.
The Mega Brother said that his daughter happened to be present in the pub at the time of the raid. "The police have conveyed that she did nothing wrong. The pub was raided because it was open beyond the permissible hours. Our conscience is clear," Naga Babu said.
He requested both social and mainstream media to refrain from making unwarranted speculations.
About 150 people were detained. Not all of them are suspected to have done drugs. The media is resorting to sensationalism because celebs like Rahul Sipligunj were detained.
