Kollywood actor Vijay Antony is playing a detective in ‘Hatya’. Starring Ritika Singh as a fledgling cop, the film is helmed by Balaji Kumar. Infiniti Film Ventures and Lotus Pictures have unveiled the First Look of the detective thriller.
The poster suggests that the male lead embarks on the path of investigating a murder. We also spot Murali Sharma and Radhika Sarathkumar. There is a hint that the detective suspects their involvement in the conspiracy. One must say that the 'Bicchagadu' actor's get-up is authentic.
The film is based on a murder that took place in 1923. Murder mysteries have a loyal fan base among the audience. One hopes 'Hatya' lives up to its promise.
Also featuring John Vijay and Siddhartha Shankar, the film has cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan. Music is by Girishh Gopalakrishnan.
The film will be released in Telugu and Tamil.
