Come May 6, a film titled 'Chinni' will stream on Amazon Prime Video. Starring the 'Mahanati' actress in the central role, it has Selvaraghavan (the '7/G Brindavan Colony' director who was recently seen as an officer in 'Beast') in an intense role. The action drama, laced with elements like revenge, is titled 'Saani Kaayidham' in Tamil.
Going by the film's teaser, Keerthy has got a non-glamorous role in the movie. She is most likely playing a rebel of the kind Sai Pallavi is said to have played in the yet-to-be-released 'Virata Parvam'. Directed by Arun Mateshwaran, 'Chinni' has the 'Rang De' actress in the role of a widowed lower-caste victim who takes to violence when brutalized by a feudal lord.
