On Thursday, actor Nikhil Siddharth’s father Kavali Shyam Siddharth breathed his last. His last rites have been performed.
Today, Nikhil revealed that his father was suffering from a rare disease for eight years. Shyam Siddharth battled Corticobasal degeneration because of which he had problems related to physical movement, speech, memory and swallowing. Nikhil's mother and other family members took good care of the ailing patient.
Nikhil sounded extremely sad that his father, who was a successful educational entrepreneur, couldn't enjoy the fruits of his decades of labour because of the rare medical condition.
The 'SPY' and '18 Pages' actor thanked his father for dreaming of making him a feature film actor. "My father was a movie buff and was a fan of NTR and ANR," Nikhil wrote.
