The success meet of Karthikeya 2 was held on Tuesday at a star hotel in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, producer and guest Allu Aravind spoke of the Nikhil-starrer's exponential rise in Hindi.
"This film was released on 50 screens in Hindi on the first day. As of today, it is going strong in 700 theatres. Like 'Pushpa', it was released just like that and is doing seriously great business based on its content," the Geetha Arts supremo said. The latest trade reports say that the Hindi version is now playing on 1200 screens as of Wednesday.
Dil Raju said, "The movie was released amid tight competition. Yet, if it is doing so great everywhere, it is only because of its content. We don't have any differences among ourselves in the film industry. We all want others' films to succeed."
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad appreciated his entire team, including director Chandoo Mondeti for working really hard. He thanked the audience for making Karthikeya 2 a hit.
Actor Nikhil Siddhartha got emotional and said that he didn't know how to thank the audience. He touched upon the mystical adventure drama's performance in both Telugu and Hindi.
