'Chitra Lekha' is the title of a romantic thriller produced by Krishna Vamsi. Presented by VC Rao of Hari Priya Studios, the film is directed by Harish Vadathya of 'Telangana Devudu' fame. The film's shoot began today.
Speaking on the occasion, director Harish said that he researched for six months while writing the script. Subhash and Sri Harsha, the film's lead actors, are talented, he added.
"We have got plans to complete the shoot in two schedules. The entire movie will take place in the backdrop of Vizag," the director added.
Subhash said, "I have got a meaty role. I hope my talent gets utilized thoroughly here."
Harsha, the other hero, said that it has become hard to attract the audience to theatres in the OTT era. "The content needs to be really outstanding for them to want to watch movies in the theatre. 'Chitra Lekha' has got a strong script," he added.
Rose Heyden, the film's heroine, said that 'Chitra Lekha' is a love story. "My husband is a police officer in the film," she added.
